Scientific symposium at Irbid National University
The Jordanian Physical Therapy Association extends its sincere thanks to Irbid Private University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Majid Abu Zureiq, and the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Ahmed Mishal, for inviting the Association to attend the scientific symposium on campus today, Saturday, the third of August. This symposium included a speech by the president of the association, Professor Dr. Alia Al-Ghuwairi and the introduction to the Jordanian Physical Therapy Association This symposium also included scientific lectures on the topic of lower back pain, which is this year’s theme to celebrate World Physiotherapy Day, which was established by the World Federation of Physiotherapy. The President of Irbid National University and the President of the Jordanian Physical Therapy Association discussed ways of cooperation between the two sides to serve the physical therapy profession in Jordan. Dr. Alia Al-Ghuwairi confirmed that On the association’s effective role in serving the physical therapy profession at the academic and professional levels, and on the association’s readiness to cooperate with all official universities to raise the level of physical therapy in Jordan and to achieve partnership between the academic and professional sectors.
