Signing a cooperation agreement with Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan

The Jordanian Physical Therapy Association is honored to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement with Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan today, Monday, November 11, 2024.

The Association’s administrative body welcomed the University President, Professor Mohammad Al-Majali; his deputy, Professor Tariq Al-Qarm; the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Laith Nasrawin; and the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Professor Samah Najib.

This agreement aims to enhance academic and scientific cooperation between the two parties, exchange expertise, and participate in joint scientific activities that support the development of the physical therapy profession and raise the level of students and training programs in Jordan.

Following the signing of the agreement, the Association participated in a dialogue seminar that included heads of physical therapy departments and deans of their faculties from several public universities and students from Al-Zaytoonah University. The discussion included an explanation of the reality of physical therapy in Jordan, the challenges and opportunities, the role of the Jordanian Physical Therapy Association in protecting the profession and participating in the development of relevant policies, and the Association’s achievements.

A number of important professional topics were also clarified, and questions from the attendees were answered.

This step comes as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with leading educational institutions in Jordan, support the profession’s progress, and develop competencies in the field of physical therapy to serve the health sector and society as a whole.
