Meet the new Dean

The board of trustees of the University of Jordan decided a major Academic reshuffle on Monday 22.august.2016 and assigned Dr. Nihad Al Masri as a new acting dean of the Faculty of Rehabilitation sciences.

Dr. Al Masri is considered the first associate professor from the Physiotherapy department to occupy this position eversince the establishment of the faculty of Rehabilitation sciences in 1999.
 Who is Dr. Nihad Al Masri?

Dr. Al Masri had her Bachelors degree in physiotherapy from the University of Jordan in 2003 and she worked as a teacher and research assistant from 2003 – 2005.

In 2006 She earned her masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh and in 2010 she earned her phD in Rehabilitation Sciences – with focus on pediatrics – from Drexel University Philadelphia PA, USA .

 She started working as an Assistant professor at the department of physical therapy – UJ from

 2011 till 2014. Dr. Al Masri became the Head of the of the Department of physical therapy between 2014 and 2015 and she is now an Associate Professor at the department of Physical therapy.
