The Jordanian Physiotherapy Society (JPTS) in collaboration with the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Jordan celebrated the International Physiotherapy day (PT day) on September 29th.2016 which held the slogan ” add life to years”.

Dr. Mohammad Al Jarrah is the new dean

The board of trustees at the Jordan University of Sciences and Technology had assigned Dr. Mohammad Al Jarrah as the new acting dean of the Faculty of applied medical sciences a decision effective on September the 1st 2016. Dr. Al Jarrah is considered the first to occupy this position from the physical therapy department.

The board of trustees of the University of Jordan decided a major Academic reshuffle on Monday 22.august.2016 and assigned Dr. Nihad Al Masri as a new acting dean of the Faculty of Rehabilitation sciences.

JPTS achievements in 2015/2016: The scientific committee managed to conduct many of the international courses which were: Mobilization with Movement A&B levels which was held for the first time in Jordan by Mr. Brian Mulligan and took place in June 2015 and was held in Toleedo Hotel.

The JPTS elections took place on Wednesday May the 11th at the JPTS office in Al-Khalidi st. One meeting was held earlier on Wednesday April the 27th but was postponed 2 weeks because of the lack of quorum.
